2. Website information and product suitability

The website provides information about flooring products, accessories, delivery, installation and related services. Product images, room scenes, digital visualisation tools, descriptions and samples are intended as guides only.

Flooring products may vary in shade, pattern, texture, finish and batch. Colours may also appear differently on screens and under different lighting conditions. Customers are strongly encouraged to view a physical sample and confirm product suitability before ordering.

You are responsible for confirming:

  • The correct product, colour, range, finish and specification.

  • The correct quantity, including a suitable allowance for cuts, waste and future repairs.

  • Required underlay, moisture barrier, profiles, skirtings, trims, stair nosings, adhesives and other accessories.

  • Suitability for the intended room, subfloor, moisture conditions, underfloor heating and level of traffic.

  • Any relevant installation requirements before work begins.

Where installation is not supplied by Bargain Flooring, you are responsible for ensuring that the product is installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Quotations and product prices

Prices shown on the website are for the stated product or service only, unless stated otherwise. Product prices, stock availability, lead times, supplier costs, delivery charges and promotions may change without notice before an order is accepted.

A quotation is valid for 14 days unless it states otherwise. Quotes may be revised if supplier pricing, product availability, delivery costs, measurements, site conditions, project scope or customer requirements change.

Where VAT applies, prices will state whether VAT is included . All prices shown include VAT unless stated otherwise .

4. Online orders and acceptance

A website order, enquiry, basket submission or payment request is an offer by you to purchase. It does not mean that Bargain Flooring has accepted the order.

Before accepting an order, Bargain Flooring may need to confirm:

  • Product availability and supplier lead time.

  • Quantity, colour, batch and specification.

  • Delivery location, Eircode, access and delivery charge.

  • Small-order handling or warehouse-fulfilment charges.

  • Whether goods are standard stock or special-order products.

  • Payment, collection, installation or site-survey arrangements.

A contract is formed only when Bargain Flooring confirms acceptance of the order in writing, normally by order confirmation, invoice confirmation or written acceptance by email.

Bargain Flooring may cancel and refund an order before acceptance where a pricing error, stock issue, supplier requirement, delivery issue, site-access issue, product specification issue or other material problem prevents accurate and reasonable fulfilment.

5. Small-order handling and fulfilment

A €35 Small-order Handling & Warehouse Fulfilment charge applies to online supply orders unless Bargain Flooring confirms otherwise in writing.

This charge contributes to supplier order processing, warehouse fulfilment, administration, coordination and related costs. It is not solely a delivery charge and may apply whether goods are delivered or collected.

Delivery, handling and fulfilment costs for larger orders, installation projects or tailored quotations may be quoted separately or incorporated into the overall project quotation. Any waiver, reduction or credit must be confirmed in writing before the order is placed.

6. Payment

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, full payment is required before products are ordered from suppliers, dispatched, delivered, collected or installed.

Payments must be made using the payment method agreed at checkout, by invoice or in writing. You must ensure that all payment, billing and contact information you provide is accurate and current.

If a payment is declined, reversed, charged back or disputed, Bargain Flooring may suspend order processing, delivery, collection, installation or further services until the matter is resolved.

7. Delivery and collection

Delivery and collection are governed by the Delivery, Collection & Returns Policy.

Key points include:

  • Direct delivery to a home or site is available from €75, subject to confirmation of product, location, delivery access, supplier requirements and order value.

  • A €35 small-order handling and warehouse-fulfilment charge may apply to supply-only orders, including collection orders.

  • Delivery dates are estimates unless specifically agreed in writing.

  • Customers must provide correct address, Eircode and contact details.

  • Customers must ensure safe access, suitable unloading arrangements, dry storage and an adult available to receive goods.

  • A €50 redelivery charge and other costs may apply where delivery fails for reasons outside Bargain Flooring’s control.

8. Installation and site conditions

Where Bargain Flooring provides installation, an accurate quote may require a site survey, measurements, moisture testing, inspection of the subfloor and confirmation of the chosen product.

Customers must disclose relevant information about the property and site, including known moisture issues, underfloor heating, existing flooring, access limitations, structural issues, recent building work, planned works by other trades, and any condition that may affect installation.

Subfloor preparation, moisture barriers, levelling, uplift, disposal, skirting removal/refitting, stair preparation, repairs and additional materials may be necessary. If previously unknown site conditions arise, Bargain Flooring will explain the issue and provide an additional quotation or agree a revised scope before carrying out chargeable extra work, where reasonably practicable.

No installation date is guaranteed until the product, site conditions, payment, access and scope of work have been confirmed.

9. Special-order products

Many flooring products, accessories, colours, quantities and batches are ordered specifically from suppliers for individual customers.

Special-order products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once the supplier order has been placed, except where products are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

Before confirming a special order, you must check and approve the product, quantity, colour, finish, specification, accessories, delivery details and suitability.

10. Returns, refunds and faulty goods

Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refunds & Returns Policy and the Delivery, Collection & Returns Policy.

Where Bargain Flooring agrees in writing to accept an eligible return, a 20% restocking charge, collection charge, failed-collection charge, supplier charge, delivery charge or other reasonable direct cost may apply, subject to applicable consumer law.

If goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, contact Bargain Flooring promptly at info@bargainflooring.ie with your order details, photographs and a description of the issue.

Do not cut, install, alter, dispose of or continue using goods that you believe may be faulty or incorrect before contacting Bargain Flooring, unless necessary to prevent immediate damage or danger. This does not affect your statutory rights.
